• Add Clay Holmes, Kerry Wood, and A.J. Puk so pitching tasks progress beside the map objectives.

One prepared Conquest lineup can remove much of the repeated work.

Keep completed hitters in the order only until their extra-base-hit tasks are done.

2 Finish the Mode-Specific Missions

This branch is better for players who don't mind switching modes to collect targeted rewards.

Each mission has a specific trigger, so the mode matters as much as the player.

Watch for these requirements.

• Earn 500 PXP in Mini Seasons with players wearing number 7 or 28.

• Hit a home run with a player named Kyle in a qualifying Diamond Quest activity.

• Complete the Purple and Pink Egg requirements through Epic rewards in Egg Hunt Diamond Quest.

• Use separate games when necessary so Holmes and Wood receive clear win credit.

Diamond Quest is less predictable than Moments or Conquest.

Leave it until the reliable points are already secured.

3 Judge Luis Castillo by Fit

Castillo isn't required for an Egg Hunt mission, but he can still support a rotation built around innings and PXP.

His value comes from pitch separation and command choices, not simply his OVR.

Use his arsenal with a plan.

• Pair the four-seam fastball with the sinker to change eye levels.

• Throw the slider away from right-handed hitters after showing inside velocity.

• Drop the circle change below the zone when hitters start sitting fastball.

• Avoid repeating the same tunnel too often against experienced opponents.

Castillo works best when you vary timing and location.

If his card doesn't advance another active goal, use a more suitable starter.
