ARC Raiders BluePrints: Fireball Burner Location and Guide

In Arc Raiders, the Fireball Burner is a versatile and essential item that serves dual purposes: it acts as a throwable incendiary tool for combat and a key crafting material for workshop upgrades. Whether you're completing the "What Goes Around" quest or leveling up your Refiner to Tier II, knowing how to efficiently obtain Fireball Burners is crucial for ARC Raiders BluePrints progression. Unlike many other items in the game, Fireball Burners cannot be crafted or purchased in the safety of your Speranza workshop-they must be looted from specific enemies during raids. This guide breaks down everything you need to know to find, farm, and use Fireball Burners effectively.

What Is a Fireball Burner?

Before diving into how to get one, it's important to understand what a Fireball Burner is and why it matters. Classified as an uncommon recyclable item, the Fireball Burner is a lightweight throwable that creates a small fire hazard in a 2-meter radius, lasting approximately 10 seconds. It deals modest sustained damage, making it ideal for flushing out enemies from cover or controlling space rather than dealing direct lethal damage.

Beyond its combat utility, the Fireball Burner is a critical resource for progression. You'll need 8 Fireball Burners to upgrade your Refiner to Tier II-a necessary step to convert lower-tier materials into higher-quality resources. It can also be recycled into Arc Alloy, a valuable material for crafting and upgrading mechanical components, or sold to traders for 640 Trader Tokens if you have a surplus.

The Only Way to Get Fireball Burners: Loot Fireball Enemies

The sole reliable source of Fireball Burners is looting the remains of Fireball ARC enemies. These are ground-based, ball-shaped robots that patrol indoor areas across all maps, spewing fire at any raider who gets too close. They cannot be found outdoors, so your search should focus on building interiors, corridors, and industrial facilities.

It's important to note that Fireball Burners are not guaranteed drops, but most destroyed Fireballs will yield at least one. Occasionally, you may find a broken "dud" Fireball Burner, which is only useful for recycling and cannot be used in combat or crafting. To maximize your chances, always loot the carcass of every Fireball you destroy.

Best Maps and Locations to Find Fireballs

Fireballs spawn on all maps in Arc Raiders, but their density and spawn points vary. Some maps are far more efficient for farming than others, thanks to a higher number of potential spawn locations. Here are the top maps and hotspots to focus on:

1. Stella Montis

Stella Montis is the best map for farming Fireballs, boasting 24 potential spawn points-the most of any map. Fireballs here patrol research facilities, loading areas, and connecting corridors. Key hotspots include the Loading Zone, Medical Research, and Atrium, where you're likely to find multiple Fireballs in a single run.

2. Buried City

With 20 potential spawn points, Buried City is the second-most efficient map for Fireball farming. Fireballs roam residential areas, commercial districts, and parking lots. Focus on Plaza Roza, City Hall, and the Grandioso Apartments, where Fireballs often gather near building entrances.

3. Dam Battlegrounds

Dam Battlegrounds is a great starting point for new players, as it has 12 confirmed Fireball spawn points and is relatively easy to navigate. The most reliable locations are the Primary Facility (especially the lower corridors), Control Tower, Research & Administration, and Testing Annex. Many players report consistent Fireball spawns in the lower sections of the Primary Facility.

4. Spaceport and Blue Gate

Spaceport has 12 Fireball spawn points, mostly in container storage areas, launch towers, and transport warehouses. Blue Gate, however, has only 4 spawn points, making it the least efficient map for farming-but it's useful if you're already completing objectives there.

How to Defeat Fireballs Efficiently

Fireballs are fast-moving and aggressive, but they have a critical weakness: their core is exposed when they open their front panel to attack. To defeat them quickly and safely, follow these steps:

First, approach Fireball hotspots carefully. Fireballs patrol corridors and rooms, so use cover to avoid their fire attacks. Wait for the Fireball to close in and open its panel-this is when its core is vulnerable.

Use high-damage weapons like rifles or grenades to target the cheap ARC Raiders Items  exposed core. A few well-placed shots are usually enough to destroy a Fireball. Alternatively, you can use your pickaxe for close-range kills if you're low on ammo, but this is riskier due to their fire attack.

After destroying the Fireball, immediately loot its carcass. Remember to check for Fireball Burners-they are marked as green recyclable items, which can be easy to miss if you're in a hurry.
