Such worlds require large quantities of player-driven content that can be explored simultaneously by thousands or even millions of players at the same time.

Guilds

MMOGAH online games provide players with social groups known as guilds to participate in guild wars and complete guild tasks together, earning power points along the way and reseting each season's power level. Leaders, co-leaders, and officers may publish books in the guild library while withdrawing or distributing gold in return for taxing privileges within their guilds.

Many guilds are formed to assist newer players get acquainted with the game, while some can become vanity projects for small numbers of people or an individual player. Such guilds should be avoided as they could become trolling sites for unsuspecting gamers.

PvP

MMOs allow players to engage with other gamers and non-player characters both in-game and off. These games typically feature complex in-game economies and social structures while encouraging teamwork and PvP combat between computer-controlled enemies or human players. Many titles now support a Free-to-play online MMO model, allowing players to access core gameplay for free, while others may still require subscription fees or optional microtransactions.
